1 Corinthians 10:13
The temptations you face in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out.
Can I tell you something that may surprise you? Every follower of Christ faces some kind of temptation. No follower of Christ lives in a temptation free zone. There is no such thing.
But here is what Paul wants us all to know. There is no temptation that can not be beaten. We just have to make up our mind that we are not going to give in to that temptation. The Bible says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
We must ask ourselves, “How long are we going to keep falling for the trap that Satan has for us?” Instead of falling for the trap, call on the name of the Lord and He will provide a way of escape.
